Ms. Dina Dorpat, Teacher
This is Dina's second year teaching at Prairie Pals. She teaches a 3's, 4's, and Pre-K class. Dina is passionate about her classes and states, "I love teaching all the Prairie Pals students!" She graduated from Illinois State University and has spent the majority of her career working with children. She resides in Aurora with her husband and two children.

Ms. Leslie Kennedy, Teacher
Leslie has been with the Prairie Pals family since 2008. She believes that watching a child master a skill or try something new is a blessing and loves her job. She resides in Aurora with her husband and three children. Leslie is a graduate of Illinois State University, where she met her husband and many dear friends. She has previously worked in the Oswego School District for many years and has run her own business. She is an avid volunteer. Leslie can often be found at a gymnastics meet, football game, baseball game, or wrestling meet cheering on her children, and loving every minute of it!h her husband and three children. Leslie is a graduate of Illinois State University, where she met her husband and many dear friends. She has previously worked in the Oswego School District for many years and has run her own business. She is an avid volunteer. Leslie can often be found at a gymnastics meet, football game, baseball game, or wrestling meet cheering on her children, and loving every minute of it!
Ms. Christine Marra, Teacher
Christine resides in Aurora and is married to Steve, her wonderful husband of 16 years. They have two beautiful children. After a terrific career teaching in District 204 for seven years, Christine was blessed with the opportunity to stay home with her children. As they grew, she realized that her passion for teaching was still there, she just had to make it fit their current lifestyle. Following five years of teaching Religious Education and two years of substitute teaching in District 308, Prairie Pals has become her new home! When not here, you can find Christine at her son's football and baseball games or music recitals or her daughter's gymnastics meets! Once in awhile, she gets to curl up with a good book or take her dog for long walk.
Ms. Pam Krall, Teacher
Pam has enjoyed working and playing at Prairie Pals since 2010. She received her degree from Eastern Illinois University in 1990 and has ten years of teaching experience. Pam resides in Oswego with her husband and four busy children. Most of her free time is spent at their activities. When she gets a chance, you'll find her in the garden with her crazy daisies.
Ms. Laural Beyer, Assistant
Laural is the newest addition to our permanent staff. She aides for Jen, Leslie, and Pam's classes. She is married and has three grown daughters and three grandsons. Laural and her husband live in Millington. They moved "out to the country" a little over four years ago after her husband retired from the city of Aurora.
Ms. Cheryl Price, Executive Director, Preschool Director
Cheryl has worked in the education and childcare fields for over 15 years on all levels from teacher to director. She joined Prairie Pals in 2007 and in 2009, she accepted the Executive Director position at the Oswego Christian Foundation (parent organization of Prairie Pals). Cheryl is certified in CPR, First Aid and Food Service Sanitation, is DCFS Childcare Center Director qualified, is a past ISBE qualified Child and Adult Care Food Program Director and past member of the Anderson's Early Childhood Development Professional Advisory Board. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wheaton College, with a psychology major and an education minor. Cheryl has been married to Ed for over 30 years. She has four children and three grandchildren.
Ms. LuAnne Knutson, Office Manager
LuAnne joined the Oswego Christian Foundation in 2009. She has over 14 years experience in various administrative and accounting fields. LuAnne has also served our country as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps. She currently resides in Oswego with her husband Tom, and their two beautiful daughters. LuAnne is thrilled to be a part of the Prairie Pals family.
